This flag was adopted on April 6, 1905. The colors of the flag are dark green, gold, blue, white, black and buff. The flag was designed in1914. The designer is a committee from the Daughters of the American Revolution. The design is on a green field and it’s the only state flag that displays an image of an actual person. It’s a fitting representation of the Evergreen State. In its center is a reproduction of the state seal. All outdoor flags are finished with heading and brass grommets (H&G). PH denotes pole hem for indoor and parade use. PHF denotes pole hem and gold fringe.
